Hello:
I am preparing to work in Dhaka, Bangladesh for two years with VSO, a volunteer organization similar to Peace Corps. I do not have much time to begin studies before I leave (I will receive training in country) but would like to start with a crash course in the basics before I go.
I am a complete beginner to this language and would be glad to master some basic greetings and questions. I would prefer in person lessons if possible, but will consider phone/email as well. I would like to meet with a teacher 1-2 times per week. Someone with much patience and able to tell me about the culture too would be great!

I started french this year in college. I love the language and I intend to use it when I go to french-speaki ng Africa after I finish college. However, I am not a dedicated student, I need motivation to study and I get intimidated in conversation. I want to be confident in my french! I would like a teacher that I am comfortable making mistakes with, but who will challenge me and help me towards fluency(somed ay!!!)

I go to Vietnam annually to do humanitarian work and just got back from my third trip and know the basics, hello, how are you and thank you. I really want to learn more so I am able to communicate better with the people I am working with (Elderly, Disabled people and children). I am planning on many more trips as I am the volunteer humanitarian coordiantor for the group I travel with. I am looking for a teacher in San Francisco and am willing to dedicate what ever time it takes to learning Vietnamese (conversation , reading and writing). I would like to find someone that is Vietnamese, preferably a female (if not, it's OK) and in San Francisco. Someone patient with a unique approach to pronouciation , etc. would be good. I learn fast and am willing to put in the time, believe me, this is very important to me.

I am a novice but I pick up languages very easily...most ly Spanish which is my second language, French and Italian. I would like to learn Albanian because I wish to teach English there. I would like to learn conversation, grammar and I am willing to dedicate 30 minutes every day. I am looking to be able to converse with my boyfriend who is Albanian but he speeks Greek but his family mostly speaks Albanian.
