I am an opera singer who sings in French, German, Italian, Russian and Czech. I speak French fluently and Italian and Russian conversationa lly. I understand German and took first year university German 10 years ago. I would like to move to Germany in the fall to sing, and so I need to improve my German in spoken, written and grammar. I am looking to take lessons all summer.
As for Russian, I just finished a 3 month government singing grant at the St. Petersburg Conservatory where I took Russian language everyday. Unfortunately it is such a hard language that I have so much more to learn (even though I had taken a year of university Russian before I went). I would like to periodically keep up with my Russian language learning to maintain what I know and continue to learn more.
