My name is Kim VanderVoort and I'm a rising sophomore at NYU. I'm an Italian major, and have always had an affinity for foreign language study. This semester, I took a course in Russian History and have become incredibly fascinated with Russian culture, and consequently the Russian language. Because of scheduling reasons, I cannot take Elementary Russian in the Fall, so I'm considering the possibility of testing into Intermediate Russian. I am a very hard worker and tend to learn languages easily (I completed an entire year of French one summer a few years ago). I am willing to take lessons as often as every day. With your knowledge of the language and teaching it, do you think this would be possible to do this over the summer?

My name is Rebecca. I am a beginner in Russian. I can recognise cyrillic and pronounce basic words and phrases. I am planning on using Russian as my primary language for my profession and want to be fluent in 5 years time.
I have my own materials but would benefit greatly from regular in-person sessions. I am be willing to dedicate 10+ hours per week to my learning and need the most work with pronunciation and basic conversationa l skills. Also could use some help with Russian hand-writing in cursive.
I would like my teacher to be a native Russian who is well-structur ed and understands my passion for Russian culture/langu age.

Hello,
I want to know Russian language as a second language needed for communication , I have started learning Russian language 6 years ago but stopped. Conversation is needed in the beginning then reading and writing are desired too. An hour per day would be fine after 19:00 pm. I would ask for the best quality in my teacher in order to get the best result as soon as possible.
