I have never spoken, read, or written manadarin.
I want to learn Manadarin because it will be the principal language of commerce in 10-15 years time.
I would like to start with conversationa l Manadarin.
I can dedicate about 4-8 hours a week to learning.
I speak English, not American. I am very formal about correct grammar, word usage, and speech. I wish to learn classical, formal Manadarin from someone who is well educated, very well spoken, and retains formal speech and correct grammar. I do not want to learn slang or street dialects of the language.

I am a beginner - I can ask where certain things are, request some items, etc.
I work with people who speak little or no English and I would like to be able to better communicate with them.
I attend University full time as well as work full time and I have a family, so my schedule is quite full. I would like to dedicate a couple of hours a week if properly scheduled.
I want a practical, conversationa l approach. Reading is a distant second. I very much want to become fluent in Spanish in a relatively short time.

My proficiency level is beginner.
I'm learning the language because I'm taking a trip to Sweden, and because I think it's a beautiful sounding language.
My biggest problem seems to be pronunciation . The rest is a matter of memorizing vocabulary and grammar.
I try to devote some time to studying Swedish daily. I'd like to take lessons weekly or bi-weekly.
I'd prefer to be taught by a native speaker, but a non-native speaker who has complete command of the language would be acceptable. The instructor should be patient. I'm well past the age when people are best able to learn a language.

Three years of self study with about 7 classes with a private tutor in Modern Standard Arabic. I also have an intermediate level of Quranic recitation. I need more practical tutoring and conversation. It would also be nice to have someone to e-mail questions and examples of problems. I would be able to dedicate a couple of hours a week in a class and more time at home study.
