I am a beginner in mandarin chinese. I will start formal university classes in chinese next year at FIU. I am learning Mandarin Chinese because I am an International Relations/Asi an Studies major, therefore I need to know the language to excel in my field. I currently have no experience with the language, so I need help in all fields. I am looking for a teacher who is a native speaker of the language with writting, reading, and speaking skills in the language. It is also important for me for the instructor to be very assertive with the lessons. I would also like to attend conversationa l sessions with other native speakers of the language.
