I have studied Hindi for several years. I can read and write and have learned all the basic grammar. However, my aural comprehension is poor - I need practice listening and speaking. I need to increase my vocabulary. I am learning Hindi as I travel in India. I would like to take lessons two hours per week until mid-August, 2007, in Toronto, and if possible, continue on-line after that as I live in northern British Columbia.

My hindi, is typical NRI ...i do possess a bit of an accent...i can understand hindi above average and can speak enough to get me by...but i want to not only speak it fluently but eventually master proficiency in it...i am a pharmacist so do feel that improving this will also help me everyday at work...i can spend once a week with a professor as i am very busy...but will dedicate my spare time to this course...than ks
