I am a complete beginner, I only know a few words and phrases. I have started working in France on a six-month contract and I want to get to a level of French where I can understand what people are saying and hold a basic conversation. I struggle with pronounciatio n so I think this area I will need a lot of work on. I would like to spend 2-3 hours week learning French, maybe more if weekend classes are available.

I need a French language tutor for my teenage twin daughters for one week starting July 27, 2009 in Annecy. French is their first language and they both understand spoken French. However, they are very weak on grammar, sentence structure and written French. Their spoken French also needs improvement. I am looking for someone to spend approximately 3 hours each morning (Monday-Frida y) tutoring them. The tutor needs be flexible, patience and enthusiastic and hopefully have learning activities which are will offer a variety of ways to absorb information.
