I speaking english naturally and cantonese some what naturally. I took mandarin in high school for two years and consider myself to be at a high beginner/low intermediate level. I have studied up to level II intermediate in the University 2 years ago. I have probably dropped back to a beginning intermediate level. I have an intermediate/ advanced facility in Spanish, and speak Brazilian Portuguese with near fluency. I wish to solidify my Spanish, and weed out some poor grammatical habits- also reflexive verbs are a stumbling point- they are just the opposite in Portuguese!
I hope to dedicate a few evenings a week to study.
I would like someone who is relatively young like me (I am 29) who has not only a by-the-book language skill, but who also is aware of colquial language, and who is fun to talk with!! I also generally respond better to female teachers, if that is an option.
