No w I'm moving to Houston Texas and want to keep studying the Japanese language, is very important to me.

I'm looking for a teacher that could help me to learn Japanese in an advanced level, and also teach me about Japanese culture. Classes at the Houston Southwest area would be great. (only if possible...)

I am a beginner, I just started working at a Japanese restaurant two weeks ago and I would like to learn how to speak some Japanese. So I can learn to pronounce the words correctly and learn how to say some short necessary sentences to begin with.
I would like to devote between 3 and 5 hours a week to learn. In an instructor I am looking for someone who is patient, knowledgeable , and someone who may have learning tricks, for instance how I can learn to roll my R's something I still do not do well (at all even)

Well, hello. lol
My main goal right now is to learn japanese. I have been wanting to for the longest of times. Lately, with a help of my friend, I have learned a bit more. Right now I know all the hiragana and half of the katakana. And adding to that, I started to learn some kanji too. No, its not easy, but I'm determined to learn it.
Right now im looking for a teacher, because, even though I can read simple japanese, I can't speak it that well. Just a few simple phrases, and that's it. So, I need to the help, lol. I'm trying to learn it, by listening to my anime in japanese, it somewhat works.
Um. .other than that, Im a 17 year old girl, starting college. IADT to be specific. I love, or am obssesed, with anime and manga, and computers. I love to read, and chat. Im just a nerd and a geek. lol. I listen to lots of music and I sing a lot, even japanese, yeah! Rock, soft rock, techno, jap pop. Yeah, mostly rock, lol. And thats about it, lol.

1) Beginner: I have never had a tutor before and my only knowledge of Japanese comes from books I have borrowed from the library. In truth, I know little of this language.
2) I wish to learn Japanese because of personal interest. Ever since I was very young I have admired the Japanese and I want to visit (maybe live) in Japan one day.
3) I need improvement in everything.
4) I believe, any amount of time is alright. As long I can be assured to learn a lot and never forget what I learn then I am willing to spend all the time needed.
5) As long as the teacher does not make me doze off the first second he/she starts talking and as long as she/he makes the lessons enjoyable, fun, and unforgetable. I would also appreciate it a lot if I can learn and have tests/convers ations with the teacher.
