Hello Russian language instructors.
I am an absolute beginner and want to learn to speak Russian using live online voice chat (i.e. Skype) with a native speaker.
I would like to have a one hour session per week. I am on the East coast of the USA, so I would prefer Saturday morning sessions if possible starting at 9 or 10 in the morning Eastern time zone.
I am willing to do offline studying/home work between sessions so that online chat sessions can focus on proper pronunciation and conversationa l practice.
I want to learn Russian so that I can have some basic language skills when I travel to Ukraine with my wife late in 2006 in order to adopt a child. If you are a native Ukrainian or speak Russian and Ukrainian that would be a plus as you can incorporate some Ukrainian specific culture training into our discussions which would be helpful.
I am able to pay between 15 to 20 US dollars per lesson as I am looking for beginners level instruction and will not have any corporate sponsors to help reimburse this expense.
A dditionally, I would like to pay for lessons on a weekly or monthly basis. Paying in advance for three or four months of instruction is too risky until I get to know the instructor well.

Hello,
I have studied some Hebrew in the past and am comfortable with the alphabet and some grammer. I am able to read slowly if the vowels are presented. I would like to learn to hold a conversation and understand when listening to conversations (vocabulary). I am surrounded by family and friends who speak the language fluently and I hope to be able to travel to Israel and speak with the family I have there that do not speak English. I would like to study at least 1 - 2 nights per week so that I can learn quickly. I am looking for someone who has spent time living in Israel so that I can learn the cultural piece of the language. I can start right away and am available Mon, Wed, Thur evenings, Friday afternoon, and Sunday AM or PM. Thank you for your time.
