I'm trying to learn how to speak Japanese and Korean. Right now we have Japanese in our school which has really only taught us how to write hiragana and katakana. The teacher has not done a good job with teaching us phrases at all.
I would also like to learn Korean because I am very intrigued by the culture, and the language itself to me is very interesting.
I chose these two languages because I am very passionate about learning languages and different cultures. The Japanese and Korean cultures happen to be my favorite for it completely different way of living from here.
So, that's all there really is. Thank you for any help. It really is appreciated.

I'm taking lessons from Bunka right now but do not have time to do revision, so would like to have a private tutor to teach me and revise so that i can catch on faster. I would prefer to have real Japanese as my tutor, and best if familiar with Bunka teaching but not that important. 2 hours per week should be good enough. I'm in intermediate 1 of Bunka now but still not very good with use of particles and changes of words in past tense. Anyway believe practice makes perfect, so just want 2 more hours to practice more.

A couple of years ago, I was teaching myself Japanese through workbooks, rosetta stone, and popular culture. Through taking Spanish in the eighth grade, and then moving to Germany (thus switching my language priorities) I pretty much forgot all of it.
I have this summer, plus possible time during the school year, to catch myself up enough that I can continue on my own, while continuing to learn German.
I' m pretty quick with language, and would like to eventually work as a translator of some sort.
