I would like to learn Swedish because I really like to travel there and I find you have much more opportunities when you speak the language of a country that you are visiting.
I also expect one day to live in Sweden, so I start now learning Swedish.
I know already German so I think it should be an advantage.
I will probably in Montreal/Long ueuil next August for one year. So looking to spend one evening per week to learn Swedish.

I took a short beginner class on Swedish in Sweden during the fall semester 2008 on a study abroad exchange program. I have a large number of relatives in Sweden and am interested in this culture, heritage, and language. My comprehension skills have started to develop, but I do need work on all areas. I would like to begin one-on-one weekly lessons as soon as possible. I have some textbooks from my class in Sweden that can be used but would love to begin using additional resources and reading more in Swedish. I would like lessons that are largely conversation- based (eventually) and to work towards writing and reading frequently and with increased difficulty.

I am at the beginner stage of learning Swedish (I just know a few key phrases). I'd like to learn mostly out of personal interest - my father's side of the family is Swedish. I'd be willing to dedicate a few hours to this on the weekends (as I work long hours during the week), over a few months.

I am interested in learning Swedish. It's a just for fun thing for me. I have met a few Swedish people online and have decided I want to visit Sweden. I know they speak English there but I have always wanted to learn a second language and have decided Swedish is the one I want to learn. I hear it can be a hard language to learn but I am up for it! :) I would like a teacher that knows Swedish very well. It would be preferred if Swedish was their native tongue but it is not neccessary. I can do lessons by e-mail.

i am currently in sweden but will becomeing back tosask atoon and would like to learn swedish before june of next year because i am planning on moveing here by june and i would like to spend about 2 to 3 hors a week learning. i know a little bit but would like to learn more.
