I am a beginner, having taken some German in school. I want to learn a second language mainly because I believe it to be important to continue learning new things throughout my life. I also have a desire to learn about other cultures and ways of life. I am a beginner and as such I need to work on all aspects of the language I am learning. I would like to come up with a schedule for lessons with the teacher I choose. A teacher with patience will be important, as I am only starting out.

I am a extreme beginner, I know no Gaelic what so ever. I want to learn because it is the native tongue of my country, Scotland.
I was as a long haul truck driver so time is not my greatest friend.
I am not looking to become a fluent linguist in Gaelic but would like to have an understanding , and perhaps be able to complete the odd toast here and there.

For Scots Gaelic, I've gone through the Teach Yourself book, so I guess I know all the rules but conversation would be helpful. I'm learning the language because it's a part of my background and I enjoy languages.

I am looking for someone who is fluent in gaelic, preferably their native language. I know nothing about gaelic, a complete beginner. I wish to learn the language for my own benefits. I would be willing to dedicate 2-3 hours a week to lessons with the teacher, and more time practicing by myself or with friends and family. I would like to learn the basics of the language to begin with and see how it develops from there. I would like a dependable, easy-going, flexible teacher if possible.

I know nothing about Gaelic right now but I am hoping to find someone to teach it to me, I am very intrested in Scottish history and I think learing the Native language is the next step for me.
