My wife and I are learning Portuguese as we spend 3 to 4 months in Portugal each year as we have a villa in the Algarve and consider it is necessay to be able to communicate locally.
We have been studying at the Brasshouse in Birmingham for 2 years and would have started Portuguese Level 1 Stage 2 asset but the date coincides with another activity. We would like to continue with conversationa l Portuguese and also the grammar structure. We have been spending 2 hours in lessons and then 2 to 3 hours with homework per week. We would be looking at a similar arrangement or perhaps less hours dependent upon availabilty.
We are looking for a teacher who could provide 1 on 2 private lessons with emphasis on the above We are flexible on timing as we both have retired.

Hi, I'm trying to learn Brazilian Portuguese, I travel to Brazil & Angola with my work & although I have attended a short course (6 weeks) I really need to accelerate my learning.
I travel a lot with my job so need to be flexible with dates for tutorials
I prefer 1:1 tutorials as I feel I would gain more this way

I was born in Brasil though have lived in the UK for many years and consequently have forgotten much of my native language. I wish to re-learn Portuguese for social interaction with my family and friends in Brasil along with use in my business life as an International Instructor.
My current level is intermediate though I would like to improve my vocabulary, grammar and coloquialisms local to Brasil. I would like to dedicate at least one session per week, possibly more to continuing my personal development in this language.
If possible I would like my teacher to be Brasilian or be able to teach Brasilian Portuguese and to be flexible with teaching days and times, as I travel frequently.
