I am in Kuala Lumpur Thursday May 21 (2009) and the 22nd. I'm looking to take beginning classes in Bahasa Indonesia and/or Bahasa Malaysia in the evening, for one to two hours (will depend on how I feel the lessons are going). I have recently traveled in Indonesia and Malaysia for business, and having learned a little about the language am curious to try to learn more. I hope to come back soon, and if so would like to be able to have some basic conversation skills if possible. I am a 27 year old male (American), currently living in China (I also speak Mandarin Chinese, and am hoping Malaya will be much easier to learn..)
I would like to meet at a coffee shop or similar location in the Bintang shopping district, which is near where I am staying (very close to BBQ park). I am looking to pay around 50 ringgit an hour (pricing negotiable).

I am a manager of a tour company here in Kuala Lumpur. Currently, we have groups of Australian students on an education programme here and one of the activities is Language Lesson (Bahasa Indonesia). THey come to Malaysia during the holiday period - Mar/Apr , June/July, Sep & Nov.
I need the service of an Indonesian tutor to handle these lessons. These are done in the hotel fucntion room . The group size is between 6-20 persons (14-18 years). Most of them have a basic level only.
The lesson is between 1 to 3 hours per day. Each group will do 2 lessons up to 4 lessons per visit.

Our level is the beginner level. We need to learn Bahasa Indonesia for career advancement as we deal a lot with Indonesian clients. We will need improvement on grammar, conversation, writing etc.. We don't mind spending 3 months to learn this (translations etc). Probably once/twice a week. We are looking for experienced teacher to help us with translation from English to Bahasa Indonesia in a fun way...Thank you!
