My name is Lori. I have been living in Taiwan for about 5 years now, but don't speak much mandarin. For the past few months I've been taking a tutor (1to1) class, but my tutor has gotten too busy with other things. i'm a beginner with basic conversation and grammar, ex. like, go, places. i need help with everything though i am most interested in basic conversation. I'd like to study 2 hours a week. Because i work at a cram school the only time i have available are weekdays until 1pm and weekends. i am looking for a teacher that is prepared and doesn't make me feel like i need to plan the class. so I'm looking for someone who's more patient as well.

I am learning Chinese becuase I work for a Taiwanese company and want to be able to communicate more effectively with my co-workers. I am a beginner but have lived in Taiwan for a total of 7 months, so I do know the basics. I want to focus on my conversationa l Chinese. I do not care to learn how to read or write at the moment.
