I would like to learn Czech because i plan on spending a few years there. I have been there a few times so i know how difficult of a language it will be to learn. It would be ideal to have a native speaker as a teacher, but it is not entirely necessary. i am at a begginer level with very little understanding of the language structure and grammer. My goal is to become fluent in Czech.

I am learning Czech because I would like to do Ph.D research concerning the Czech Republic. I am a beginner and need to be taught from the very start. I have 2 months from May-June to take an intensive course and will then continue studying on the side till I know the language. I would like a teacher who is affiliated with an organization where I can take Czech Classes.

I have been traveling to the Czech Republic since 1992 and wish to spend more time there, both for personal and business purposes. All my friends there are native. It is essential that I learn to speak Czech to feel more at home there. The depth and complexity of the language and literature fascinate me.
I know a smattering of Czech words and phrases, and I am beginning to study using the book Czech Step-by-Step.
I would like to study intensively, a few times a week.

I am a beginner with fully Czech maternal ancestry. I would very much be able to visit the land of my forbears as well as to be able to read the vibrant literature and paricipate in the culture of what is now the Czech Republic. I live in Modesto CA and work three to four days per week in Sacramento, allowing me to pursue lessons in either locale. In addition, given the obvious lack of teachers of the Czech language, I would be willing to consider travel to the San Francisco Bay area or other sites within a reasonable distance.

I'm a beginner at the Czech language.
My husband is from Prague and we visit often, but I'm not able to speak with all of my relatives.
I would like to study one on one with a native speaker for 2 or 3 days a week.
I work and have two small children, so it is difficult for me to attend classes.
I would like to study in the evenings after work.
I know a few words, and really need a teacher to help me communicate with my relatives and friends in Prague.
