Hello, I have been really wanting to learn greek for a long while, as my fiance and his family all speak greek.
I am a beginner however i have been learning on Rosetta stone.
I need improvement on all of it!
I want to become proficient so as long as it takes. I am looking for a teacher who is patient, and excited to teach.

Hi!
My name is Allison. I am a 27 y/o female that is somewhat new to the NY area. I relocated for my work as a registered nurse and for grad school. I have been actively learning Greek for about 2 years now. I first visited Greece in 2009 and I have been in love ever since. I have a good foundation of the language but I am in need of a tune-up. I am hoping to eventually become fluent. I need help on every area.... I find that my reading comprehension is average but I lack in conversation skills and grammar. I would like to dedicate once a week meetings for roughly an hour.
I am looking for someone who is patient and shares an enthusiasm for the Greek country and culture.

I am learning greek to become proficient at conversation. Some close friends and in-laws live there, and I really want to be able to speak with them without the use of a translator. I would say that I am a beginner, as I know some speech, but am struggling with grammar, tense, and gender articles. I would be looking to dedicate between 2-3 hours a week. My teacher just needs to be explanatory, as I ask a lot of questions, and work with me in repetition, and checking for clarity and understanding !
