My 5 year old is going on a 2 week trip to Croatia to meet family. I would like for her to learn some basic travel Croatian to get around town if lost, ask where the bathroom or hotel is, order at a restaurant, and have basic conversations with her Croatian relatives who speak no English.

I would like to learn to speak Croatian more fluently because I was born in Croatia. When I learned English, I almost completely stopped speaking Croatian. I want to be able to communicate more clearly with my family back home.
I speak Croatian at an elementary level. I can hold a simple conversation.
My grammar is poor. I would like to learn to read and write also. When I speak, I feel that I am missing words. This makes the conversation choppy.
I would like to dedicate an hour a week to this language class. Maybe two.
I want a teacher who is compassionate , but will us push me. I tend to be shy when speaking in Croatian.

I am learning to be able to communicate with my husbands family...and plan my wedding! I took a class 3 years ago but didn't get far and haven't practiced much so I would likely be a beginner. I want conversation, but I always need to know the why something is the way it is so it would probably be good to learn some grammer. I would dedicate at least 3 hours per week.

i am really just looking for some help learning Croatian. i am half Croatian on my dad's side and i want to get more in touch with my heritage. i am trying to teach myself it but it is a little hard. i mainly need help with the grammar and the 7 cases. i would greatly appreciate the help!

Haven't started learning a new language but want to start studying Croatian or Slovenian. My family immigrated to the U.S. from Croatia and Slovenia and I want to explore my cultural roots. I'm planning a trip to Croatia with my family in 2014. Want to dedicate 2-4 hrs per week. Prefer in-person instruction but would also be open to online/skype style instruction.
