I will be starting as a total beginner. I want to learn Farsi for possible career advancement and to associate myself with an ancient civilization that was once a world superpower. Perhaps an hour a day for the first month would be beneficial, and after 30 days, depending on how comfortable I feel I am, I can increase that to more time. I would like for the teacher to be extremely knowlegable in teaching Persian to someone whose native language is English with no experience in their language, and someone who is extremely patient and personalble.

I have been studying arabic for the last 4 years. I can read and write and know alot of vocabulary. I would say I am intermediate level. I am a muslim and I would like to read the Quran in arabic and understand what I am reading. I would like to study on Saturdays.
