My wife and I are looking for a language school in South Africa willing to teach us Afrikaans. We are going to be working with orphans and require a minimum competency of third grade. An intensive person to person school with a native speaker is prefered. We are merely beginners in this language. We could dedicate aproximately four months to this intensive study.

I have studied Russian language at the University of Maryland for a little under 4 semesters. I am leaving for Belarus in about 2 months and need to find someone who I can work with one on one. The ideal candidate is someone with a good amount of free time, averaging 10 hours a week. However do the length of time I am looking to study, I am hoping to find someone who I may negotiate pay with. I have found some tutors with rates as high as $50 an hour, which would be impossible considering my meager finances. I am looking for someone that is patient, energetic and creative. I really want to work on my pronunciation , and my understanding .
