Professor- I am writing to you today to ask for help in learning Albanian. My finance is native to Albania and we are getting married in September, I know more than anything, that he wants me to become fluent in this language. I am a beginner in the Albanian language. I have recently spent 5 weeks in Albania. One week was travel only all over the country. The last 4 weeks were spent teaching English to Albanians that wanted to improve in English conversation or pass the TOFEL. I love the country and the people. I have lived in Europe and traveled in South America. I've also traveled in Japan. I have never become so attached to a country and people as in Albania. Wow! The new Eastern Europe is amazing!!! I plan to return to teach English, but I want to be able to communicate to make travel easier and visits to student's parents and grand-parents more enjoyable. Any educated Albanian will fit my needs.
