I've studied japanese for 4 years in Highschool, i think i might be at the intermediate level
I want to learn Japanese because I feel that God is calling me to go there to do missions in the future. I am also very interested in their culture and may want to enter the entertainment industry in Japan in the future
I need improvement in all areas: grammar, conversation, vocabulary, better understanding of cultural context, etc.
I'm not sure yet, we should discuss it. Right now i'm very busy, maybe just start out at once a week, 2-4 hours each time. But after August, I should be able to have lessons more frequently
I'm looking for a teacher who is patient, clear, and who is open to discuss the material thoroughly with me

Began in 7th grade in my junior high. Enjoyed the language, but still a beginner
I was learning German for the simple fact that I could, that unlike in college I didn't have to pay for the same class.
I'm willing to give up about 2 hours a week to a class. I don't have much money, but I will be able to pay.
Japan ese:
I haven't learned much Japanese, but I would love to learn, I enjoy listening to people speakanother language and trying to figure out what they are saying.
I just want to learn Japanese, no real reasoning behind it, aside from thinking that it is a beautiful language.
About 2 hours a week would be sufficient, possibly 1 hour

I am a beginner with Japanese, but I learn quick. I watch a lot of anime, so I pick up phrases and words easily. I teach myself too, but it is very difficult to understand sometimes since I am not a native speaker. I am very interested in the Japanese culture. I want to know how to write and speak Japanese in any area. One hour of lessons is fine. I want to be able to learn easily from a teacher. Not only do I want to learn the language but also the culture.

I am a beginner in Japanese, looking to learn it for recreational purposes. I have self-taught myself most katakana and am in the process of teaching myself hiragana, but what I would really like to learn is how to actually speak Japanese.
It is very hard to find any good Japanese resources that will sit down and actually teach Japanese so I am interested in live as well as internet learning, particularly with small groups rather than individually, but it doesn't matter too much.

I am a software business professional with advanced beginner level Japanese conversation skills (I only read hiragana and katagana, no kanji yet). I lived in Tokyo from 2000 to 2002 as a business journalist. My current job requires a lot of communication with Japanese companies with some business trips to Japan. I would like a teacher who can give me organized grammar lessons from a textbook while also customizing lessons to suit my business needs. I would like someone who challenges me and gives me tests. I really need to build up my vocabulary and start improving my reading skills too. Ideally, I am looking for a teacher who has some professional teaching experience with some business background, but I am very flexible. Once or twice a week I would like to have 90 minute (flexible) lessons either at my downtown Los Angeles office or at some other private location.
