I do not know a word of Japanese other than a few different kinds of sushi! I'm going to Japan in July with the JET program, and i thought it would be a good idea to learn the basics of the language before I immersed myself in it.
I would like to dedicate about 6-8 hours/week to my language lessons, but I work full-time so depending on the teacher's availability I don't know if that will be possible.
I'm looking for a teacher who is outgoint, friendly and [atient and who can teach me about the culture of Japan as well as the language. I learn visually so I like written assignments and I love to talk and listen! I'd like lessons that are intensive enough that I can have a fair grasp of the language before I leave in 3 months.

We are a group of 6 people, maybe 7,
We would prefer Italian to be the instructor's native tongue.
We wish to meet once a week or once every two weeks.
We wish the emphasis to be on conversation with correction of grammar.
To be held in our homes and may include our cooking and eating an Italian meal together or Ho's. Of course all conversing to be in Italian.

Hello,
After spending the summer in Turkey, I have absolutely fallen in love with that country and it's people. I am a beginner, but I have Turkish friends who are patient enough to practise with me. I plan on spending a year or two in Istanbul teaching english after I complete my degree, so I figured I had better learn the language this year.
I would like to find a teacher who is flexable with different learning styles, has a sense of humour and above all is patient.
