Just a quick description - I am looking to learn mandarin - which I currently have only learnt to a very very basic level from friends and a trip to China in 2006. I want to learn to eventually become proficient to a conversationa l level, and initially, understanding characters is not so important as listening and speaking. I am a medical student and can currently commit a couple of hours every week to learning, although I hope to commit much longer once I transfer to a less intensive attachment!!

I would like to learn to speak Yiddish and have been unable to find a course which is convenient for me to attend.
Ideally I would like to have one 30 - 45 minute lesson a week, but I am open to suggestion regarding this.
