--Greetings. I am a beginner in speaking Japanese but I did have several Japanese friends while I was at university- and have a bit of an ear for the language. I am trying to learn Japanese for my work. Currently I serve as the Creative Director of a research & development firm. I'm preparing for a presentation that I have in February of next year with several perspective Japanese clients. The meeting is to take place in the U.S., and although I am not expected to speak in Japanese- I would feel more comfortable if I had at least begun to build a solid foundation in japanese language before my presentation. At this point I would like be able to handle brief, polite conversation. I understand that learning to speak Japanese proficiently is not a task that I will master in a matter of months- but I assure you that I am quite dedicated to my career and will put forth a concerted effort to accomplish this task. I work around the clock, but I can spare enough time from my schedule to meet once a week. Thank you for your consideration and I look forward to hearing from you.

My name is Celeste S. I want to learn Japanese. It has always been a favorite culture of mine. When I do get out of school and get a good job, I would love to go to Japan. I am currently at a begginer level. I have many books so that I could teach myself, but I found out that that is very hard. I need help in just about everything. Reading, writing, grammar, just remembering, etc. I would dedicate as much time as I could in the lessons as long as it doesn't interfere with school or family. Qualities I'm looking for in a teacher would be just for the teacher to be nice and would love to help me learn as much as I possibly can.

I am a begginner in all these languages, i'm in 8th grade right now. I'm learning these other languages, to become more advanced. I like the Italian language. I need imporvement in conjucations (however you spell it) i'm willing to dedicate as much time as needed, although i play softball and basketball, and i need to dedicate time to my schoolwork. I'm looking for an experienced teacher, who teaches in more then one way.
(i have no experience in japanese, somewhat in spanish, and none in italian)

I am a beginner in the language. What I have learned has been on my own. I was stationed in Okinawa while in the service and enjoyed learning the language as much as time has allowed. I try to learn on my own but in order to become fluent on the language one day I believe I need to take it more seriously and get taught by a teacher or instructor. This is a stepping stone in my life and I feel it will benefit me greatly in both a personal and business aspect. I am currently attending CollegeAmeric a for a Bachelors in Business Admin. I would like to get a job with the International Trade Commission, and I believe having a second language under my belt will put me about where I want to be.
