Primary reason is for career advancement. I am taking up an ECE course and I suppose learning Japanese and other languages would be one the best assets for me to reach abroad.

I have always loved Japan, and I would love to visit it some day. I would like to learn the language and become more familiar with the country.
I have taken 1 class about 8 years ago. Otherwise I have no background in the language.
I'm typically weak in grammar and verbal conversations .
I would want to spend one night a week on learning.
