For quite some time I have been interested in learning a second language. For no other reason than for my own enjoyment, to broaden my knowledge and advance myself.
I am a beginner, as I have no current vocabulary in the Spanish language.
I would like to learn at least the basics and advance from there.
Honestly speaking, I have never done a one-on-one lesson in any aspect of life and would have to say someone who is at ease and patient. I am a quick learner and work hard, but as stated previously, I have no existing experience with Spanish. A quality that is as important is a teacher who can engage the student in many different ways; meaning, I am a very 'hands on' kind of individual. Speaking words and asking to repeat them is not a learning tool that I work well with.
I hope to find the right fit and am excited to move forward!

I want to learn spanish since I am attending a university in Madrid, Spain in January 2013. I am still a beginner and don't know any Spanish therefore I am hoping to focus on learning dialogues and conversations in order for me to be able to communicate with the people in Spain. I would like to have private lessons 4-5 times a week for one hour.

I wish to learn a foreign language for career advancement but also because I want to travel to the countries that I learn their language. I am a beginner at learning any new language, so I feel that a teacher that would use the language everyday in conversation with me would be the best for me to learn. The time I want to put in will be as much time as it takes to learn the language. There are three languages I wish to really learn and they are Italian, Spanish and German.
