My husband knows some Ukrainian words, but wants to learn the language, as I am a native speaker. He is British (he knows some french, but that's about it).

My proficiency level is beginner.I am learning Ukrainian for i am marring a woman from the Ukraine and although she speaks very good english and along with speaking german .I feel that i need to understand and i want to commuicate with her and her family,friend s and all Ukrainians when we visit the Ukraine.I hav ben to the Ukraine twice now.Once in Odessa and the last trip being Poltava. I feel that it is important for me to try to understand and speak some Ukrainian for her.Since she does speak my language.If feel that i need to know hers,if only alittle.I could spend a couple of hour in the evenings 2 times a week to learn.I am just looking for communcation skills and a teacher will to have the patience to teacher me.I do sometimes have a hard time to understand thing ,but i will give it my all too.
