I am a year 10 student interested in studying Japanese as a second language in order to further prepare myself for an exchange program I will be taking part in during 2013. I have no prior knowlege of Japanese and so will be starting as a beginner. I am willing to dedicate as much time as possible to Japanese study which should be around 3-4 lessons a week.

I am learning Japanese for career advancement, enjoyment and a broadening of my cultural experience. I am a beginner but I have been doing a little bit of study. I think i need particular improvement in areas including, grammer and particles.

I want to learn Japanese mainly because I want to learn a new language and for career advancement. I will be a beginner student. I wish to be able to do at 1-2 hours a week and will have to be after work hours. I do not mind being in a group lesson and would prefer learning a new language with face to face lessons. Besides, I love to listen to k-pop and j-pop songs, but never knew the meaning....

Learning other languages will open doors to other cultures. It will make me feel more connected to people from other countries.
