I want to learn Korean because I have dozens of friends from the country and it would be neat to be able to speak to them in their own native tongue. I know they can speak English but it would be exciting for me to go through what they did, which is learning a new language.
Currently , I can read and write in Hangul. My sentence construction is basic, so conversationa l Korean would be the main area I'll be needing a lot of improvement in. I would prefer though that the tutor cover all aspects of the Korean language. :)
I'm willing to dedicate my weekday afternoons to tutoring lessons. I'm just looking for a tutor who can lay down the foundation for the language such as grammar, essential vocabulary and the honorifics aspects. I just want to be able to speak the language. I don't need to learn university-le vel Korean.

I'm interested to learn the language for personal and career advancement. As I am also into Korean and Japanese dramas, movies and songs, I wanted to know personally the meaning of the conversations and songs rather than searching in the youtube to find the romanization and translation.
I'm a beginner. Thus I wanted to learn from the basic so that at least I could read and speak. I could use use it at third language or when I'm travelling.
To learn, I could spend 4 hours per week for my lesson. The teacher should be able to meet my goals, preferably with some teaching experience. I'm looking forward to a fun and effective teaching method.
