I lived in thailand for one year as a student volunteer. I learnt thai by speaking and listening with my thai friends. I have had no formal tutoring in thai. I am an intermediate level speaker and listener but i can not read and write. I want a thai native speaker to teach me for about 2 hours a week on the weekends preferably. If this is not possible i will have to fit it in during the week.

I am a beginner and am very interested in learning to read and write Thai adn thereby learn to speak Thai. I am doing it for personal reasons and can dedicate 4-6 hrs a week for this. I am looking for someone that can dedicate enough time to teach me the language and navigate me from the basics to a very advanced level over time.

I am the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of a very successful US insurance Company. I have lived in Thailand 4.5 years. My wife is Thai and we have three beautiful children.
I understand spoken Thai better than I can speak it. I believe I have a reasonable vocabulary but do not know how to put it all together. I want to improve my proficiency to be able to hold intelligent conversations with my friends (90% of which are Thai and were educated in England) and colleagues.
I would like to take lesson either early morning or at lunch time. I want a teacher who respects my need for flexibility as my schedule is very fluid and determined by work pressures. Cancellation at short notice is possible but I will pay for the lesson no matter what. I would prefer the teacher to be friendly, enthusiastic and have a good sense of humour. I like to do everything with a smile whether it be work or learning.
