I am fluent in Hebrew but I am desperate to speak as well as a well-spoken and articulate Israeli. I need a Brazilian teacher. I am learning the language because I live in Brazil and want to converse and do simmple business transactions with natives.
I read very well. I have a good understanding of grammer. I can understand oral TV news and write reasonably well. I would thus rate myself intermediate overall.
I can't seem to explain the following to tutors: I am unable to understand natives when they converse normally with one another. This is what I above all want to learn. I also need to improve my own oral expression. At this point it does not matter to me if my grammer is not perfect.
I would like to study about 2 hours per day, five days a week.
I would like a tutor who will converse with me and knows how to spell out words for me, improve my pronunciation , and knows the use of current informal expression. I WANT TO BE ABLE TO TALK WITH PEOPLE IN THE STREET.
