I am newly arrived in Delhi (male, 50+ years, married, 2 kids) and looking for an experienced Hindi teacher.
Location South Delhi (Chanakyapuri and around).
Tea cher should be willing to come to my house. I could also come to his/her house or other convenient places.
My main requirements:
* one-to-one personal coaching (2 x per week, 1.5h each, preferably Wed & Fri morning)
* practice of pronunciation and building simple sentences
* grammar as much as necessary
* to read and write Hindi script
* vocabulary required for kitchen, taxi, shopping.

In addition:
* Information and discussion about culture and religion, history, politics, day-to-day life. Guidance for self study.
* Occasional 'evening classes' in a restaurant together with my wife and teachers spouse. (restaurant on my expense)

I am looking for a course of private lessons in conversationa l Hindi over one week - perhaps one or 1 1/2 hours per day (in the morning). It would be for two (female) beginners in Hindi. We are staying in Delhi (Jai Singh Road) for the week for work purposes. The dates we are looking for are 8th - 13th November.
We would like to work with a teacher who is prepared to teach us the very basics - introductions and getting around in India, and maybe a bit of simple grammar where it is needed.
