I am an Australian who hopes to undertake intensive, one-on-one Tagalog lessons in Baguio for two-weeks from the end of October to early November 2008.
I would like to have a three hour class every Monday to Friday during the two week period. I also expect the teacher to provide daily 'homework' sheets to help me practice and retain my knowledge.
I expect an experienced teacher who has a clear plan for the two weeks and who uses a range of teaching material (textbooks, pictures, etc) to help me learn.

I am at a very beginner level in Tagalog (though I am a native English and Mandarin speaker and have an intermediate grasp of Spanish and French) - currently teaching myself with Rosetta Stone and a language book.
I just moved to the Philippines (Magallanes Village) for a yearlong placement with Save the Children and would really like to learn Tagalog so that I can better understand meetings and conversations at the job. Ideally I would prefer weeknight evening (after 6pm) or weekend classes that are flexible because of travel for my job.
