I am learning Japanese as hobby and or for any eployment. I have studied upto lesson 12 but cannot understand grammar.If my teacher is good I can dedicate 1 hour everyday. My teacher should explain the sentence of the chapter and also the new vocabulary.Te acher should have latest audio vedio techniques and tools to make the class interesting. Conversaions should be encouraged every moment.

- I have spent a short while in Japan (about a year) and have a distinct interest in the country, (popular) culture and film, language and its people. I would love to build on the basic knowledge I have. I try to visit Japan once a year.
- Although I have spent time (6 months) at a Japanese language school I feel that my knowledge is slowly seeping away. Once I dust off, I believe I am somewhere between beginner and intermediary.
- I would like to be able to converse so that I can keep up my friendships in Japan, but also learn the underlying grammar; my dream being to be able to read Japanese.
-I am willing to dedicate about 2-3 hours a week. I have been trying to learn by myself (self-study), but have found that I can more easily be inspired with face-to-face learning. I suppose it all depends on how inspired I get!
- I look for passion for the language in a teacher, strictness but understanding when, for example, a week is too busy to put in the time, inspiration.
