Hello,
I will be happy to learn Sanskrit - the oldest and sacred language or Hindi which is so beautiful. It's a part of my spiritual education.
I'm easy-learning student and I do speak 4 languages. I need help with the beginning level (pronunciatio n, base grammar etc).
The preferred schedule is 2 times/week at evening time (or, the best - on weekend, any time).
The word 'Teacher' is very special for me.

I am an intermediate Mandarin speaker with basic reading and writing skills. I lived and worked in Taiwan for 18 months in the mid-90's and have since taken a couple of Chinese language classes (2nd and 3rd year) at Pasadena City College. I want to improve my spoken Chinese and learn how to read a newspaper. I would like to find a teacher who will keep me on a steady pace but tailor the lessons to my needs. I would be interested in in-person lessons, possibly with phone/interne t-conference based supplements. I am interested in using simplified characters and focusing on business-rela ted vocabularies. I am an intermediate spanish speaker and went to brazil for a month so i learned how to adapt a bit but would still consifer myself a beginner. I want to learn portuguese because I loved Brasil and plan to return. My conversationa l skills need improvement more so than anything else. I am currently job searching and assume i will get a mon-fri 9-5 job so i would preger night and weekend lessons about 4 hours a week maybe? I would like a teacher that can make learning fun yet give me homework. its always helpful to have cds and stuff too so if they have worksheets, cds, etc that would be good.

I have taken a year of modern standard arabic but am now hoping to work in Beirut and thus want to study colloquial Lebanese Arabic while simultaneousl y continuing my study of MSA. I love Lebanese culture, music, etc, and am thus very much interested and very motivated to learn Lebanese Arabic, especially because the speaking aspect of the arabic language is so neglected int he teaching of MSA.
