I am interested in learning Thai. I have never spoken a word of it in my life, but my intentions are to take a trip to Thailand next and while I do not expect to be fluent in it I would like to attain some rudimentary knowledge of it.
I would like to at least spend 1 - 2 hours/week learning how to speak thai.
In my instructor I would like to find someone that has patience and is able to teaches thai in more of a casual feel since my intention is to know how to speak it in an everyday conversation.

I want to learn Thai language so I can communicate with my wife family :-) My wife is Thai and we normally communicate in Indonesian or English. The problem is, I can not communicate with her family because they can not speak English and my Thai language ability is very low.
I wanto to learn both speaking and writing in Thai, but perhaps I need the speaking part first.
I work in Jakarta but living in Bogor, so most of the weekday I will be in Jakarta. The best possible time is on Saturday or Sunday, and I can spend 4 or five hours on thta day.
I need a teacher that can tach me both speaking and writing in Thai, and also patience because I'm a slow learner (for languange).
