I am looking for an english tutor for my mother because she wants to learn english for she is interested to go to college for career advancement. She is just a beginner. The areas that she needs improvement in particular are grammar, spelling, diction, sentence construction and conversation. She is willing to spend whole day every sunday to learn. As long as the teacher is respectful, has long patience and is dedicated to teach someone to learn english, that would be enough.

I want to learn how to speak and understand the language Chinese, Mandarin so I will be able to have an edge or should I say an extra point from the other applicants when I apply for work in the near future after I graduate college. I'm a beginner and has no knowledge about the language but I'm very willing and eager to learn. I don't have an idea for how long the lessons will be but I'm willing to be enrolled 'til I really have already learned how to speak the language. I prefer a teacher who does not waste time in teaching and teaches in a way that a student will learn faster but still very keen. I want a teacher who can speak fluent english or better yet Filipino.

I'm leaving to be an exchange student in Paris for 6 months, and I need to learn as much of the language as possible before I leave.
I've had previous instruction in French, and I can converse in simple sentences in present, past (passe compose and imparfait), and future (futur simple and futur proche). Although I've had some lessons I need a refresher course as well as more in-depth use of the kind of vocabulary I will need when I'm living alone in a city. I still consider myself to be very much a beginner.
I need improvement in my conversationa l skills, as well as a lot of practice in speaking confidently.
I'm willing to spend a good deal of time on my studies before August, hopefully about 3-5 hours a week.
I'm looking for very practical lessons from my French teacher, who will be strict with my usage and my pronunciation . I'd still prefer someone who'll keep it light and fun, but I need to learn a lot so focus on covering as much material as possible would be great.
