I'd like to learn Chinese because I'm going to Hong Kong in the fall for an exchange. My level is that of an absolute beginner, but I'd like to focus on conversation so that I will be able to get by when I'm there. My background is that my first language is French (from France), although I speak English quite well. I have spoken six languages in my life, French, German, Spanaish and Arabic.
In exchange for learning Turkish, I can help someone correct their French pronunciation or teach French in exchange for learning Turkish. I would be a beginner student in Turkish. I have wanted to learn Turkish for some time as I was born in Algeria and I know that The turkish lived there for a long time, thus having a great influence on that country. This is something I really want to do. I am willing to work two or three days a week, if possible. If this is not possible, I will do this as often as possible.

I have been studying Hindi/Urdu on and off, using the Roman alphabet, for several years. I also spent a year in various Hindi speaking regions of India. I took classes in Rishikesh and Varanasi.
I consider myself an intermediate with a fair understanding of the grammar and some vocabulary. I can do basic question, answers in Hindi but I need a lot of practice conversing.
I would like to go to one class of ninety minutes every week and would like a teacher who will to talk to me 'dhire-dhire' in Hindi. They would have to put up with my bad pronunciation and my struggle with vocabulary. Ideally, they will encourage me to talk Hindi. Hopefully we would spend eighty-five minutes talking in Hindi.
