I am a beginner. I want to learn all facets of Spanish but mostly, how to communicate day to day. My partner is Mexican and I want to be able to speak his language since he has learned mine and speaks/writes /reads it very well. I am also an airline pilot and we fly to Mexico. I am only learning the Mexican way of speaking Spanish. I would like a Spanish tutor that can be flexible since my schedule differs from month to month. I would prefer a tutor from Mexico or of Mexican decent or someone who lived in Mexico for awhile and got to know the 'Mexican way.'

My proficiency in Russian is very low. I do have a beginners grasp of the Croatian language, which I'm told is somewhat similar to Russian.
I would like to learn Russian to further develop the necessary skills in order to do business in Russia. I am currently working for a firm which deals with many Russian companies, thus I would like to learn the language. Aside from career advancement, I feel that Russian is a beautiful language and I have a personal interest as well.
I would like to dedicate as much time as possible to learn Russian. At this point 3 classes a week would most likely fit my schedule.
In general, the qualities in a teacher must include: personable, patient, and simply a desire to teach. I feel that with my devotion to learning the language, and the teacher's devotion to teaching, the outcome will be very good.

I have studied Arabic for 2 years, one summer at Georgetown and another summer at the American University in Cairo. I am at a high beginner/low intermediate level and wish to continue my studies in Denver through a private tutor. I would like to meet 2 times a week and have been using the Al-Kitaab series. I am a beginner in Russian. I want to learn Russian to participate as a Russian speaker in my job, that of a flight attendant. In particular, conversation and reading would be my main focus. Rather than weekly classes I would be interested in an intense daily program for several hours a day for 4-6 weeks. I would like a teacher trained in the methodology of foreign language learning which uses the target language a great deal with less traditional grammar/ translation.

I've got to learn Japanese and Chinese to aid in the spread of our technology to Asia. We have already been extraordinari ly successful in Europe, Australia, and South America, but our adoption in Asia has been hampered by cultural barriers. I want to break these. I have already spent a great deal of time in both countries.
