I am interested in learning japanese for personal reasons and for a career in Japan, in the future.
I am a novice at the language. I know a very basic amount of japanese, which I learnt from a book called 'Instant japanese.'
There are no particular areas I need improvement in. I need improvement in all areas.
At present I am only available for classes during the weekend. However, in a few months this will change and a more flexible schedule will be available.
I am not looking for any particular qualities in a teacher apart from being able to teach japanese. Any other characteristi cs you may have are irrelevant to me.
I look forward to hearing from you, as I am very interested in learning Japanese.

I am a student at the University of Toronto's St. George campus. I have studied some Japanese before, but I'm still not very good at it at all! I currently know hiragana, katakana, and about 300 common kanji.
I can learn kanji on my own, but I need help with grammar, speaking, and listening.
I am looking for a teacher who is patient (because I am bad at learning languages!) and friendly, and can explain things well.
