advanced beginner. - I have taken two courses in Arabic language and I would like to continue to build a base, develop my vocabulary, sentence structure and conjugation of verbs etc.
My primary interest is to be able to converse orally but I would also like to improve my reading and writing skills.
I would like to spend 3 hours / week with a tutor. I am interested in private or semi-private instruction.

I am a native Egyptian but grew up in the US. I have limited conversationa l ability in Egyptian Arabic. I am now working in Abu Dhabi and require proficiency in Arabic for my work. I would like to work on my conversationa l ability. Am willing to spend 2-3 hours per week for the next couple of months and more in the Summer.

I am a beginner with three years formal education in Arabic language (MSA and Egyptian Colloquial) and one 3-month immersion trip to an Arabic-speaki ng country (Levant Colloquial).
I need help with Levant colloquial and especially with speaking and with building my vocabulary. I have better facility in writing and reading than in speaking.
I am willing to dedicate a lot of time.

I speak no Arabic, but I wish to learn. I have a BS degree in electrical engineering and a BS in cardiopulmona ry science. This is just a personal desire and not for any career goal. I have a few hours a week I can devote to this, but I have a full-time career and a family that also vie for my time. I am looking for a tutor/teacher , preferrably local for face-to-face instruction, who is calm and collected and willing to teach an Arabic illiterate.
