I want to learn Korean for many reasons. I want to learn it because I am Korean myself and I really want to talk to my family members in their native tongue. Another reason is because I want to become a Translator. My level is still at the beginner range, I know how to read Korean for the most part and I know some of the basic phrases and a few words here and there from my family telling me. Needless to say I need help in all areas especially grammar. I would like to spend at least an hour or two a week learning something new. I'm looking for a teacher that has a flexible schedule to fit mine and I would rather have a native speaker teach me.

I am migrating with my family to Korea and wish to get a head start on the language. I spent 8 years teaching Koreans but have since lost what I learned along the way! I consider myself a beginner although I will catch on quickly. Conversation for survival is my first goal, but of course I expect to learn grammar and pronunciation in the process. I hope to be able to spend at least 2 hours a day with a teacher. I do not insist on a native speaker, however I expect him or her to be proficient in the lessons offered.
