I am a beginner. I would like to learn everyday conversationa l hindi so that I may understand and speak to elderly Indian parents. I have tried to learn Hindi from language tapes, but have found it hard to follow. I am extremely motivated and is willing to give as much time as needed to master the language.

My 4th grade son would like to learn Latin. He is a very bright boy currently undergoing gifted testing at his elementary school. He also has been identified with fine motor dyspraxia. My son has been reading history books and encyclopedias for several years, and he feels that he should begin to learn Latin so that he will be able to read historical documents in the original language. His wish to learn Latin is entirely his idea. My son has a wonderful sense of humour and loves to learn; I believe that this should be an enjoyable experience for both him and his teacher.
A lthough we live in Raleigh, my son was born in London, England. Our family moved to Raleigh ten months ago. My son will turn ten in December.

I'm probably high beginners, low intermediate level. I've taken both beginner's and intermediate level courses, and studied for 1 week in Rio, however it's been almost a year since I've studied. I travel to Rio every year to see friends so I'd like to learn more. I need improvement in grammar and conversation. I could dedicate several hours per week.
