I am a retired Government Official. After retirement I started learning Sanskrit. I have passed two levels of exams conducted by Samskritha Bharathi and also the Certificate Course in Sanskrit conducted by the Rashtriya Samskrit Vidyapeethya Tirupathi through correspondenc e. I have joined the Diploma Course in Samskrit conducted by the Rashtriya Vidyapeetha Tirupathi. This is also through correspondenc e. I need assitance to study the texts prescribed. Texts include Krishnacharit ham, Hithopadesa, Samsheparamay anam, Raghuvamsam Second Sarga, 12th Chapter of Srimad BhagawadGita, Ishavasya Upanishad etc.,

I want to learn Sanskrit to read,learn and understand Shlokas, to read Philosophical books, to understand epics and to converse.
I am zero in Sanskrit.
I am free for 2 hours each on Saturday and Sunday for 3 to 4 months from October 09
The teacher should be able to teach in such a way that I can easily grasp the words and the grammar and remember them.
The teaching should be such that I needn't have keep revising the material just to remember the things.

I want to learn sanskrit as it is a window to the India's spritual literature. I want to be able to read, understand and enjoy the Vedas and other sanskrit texts. I'm a total new comer to this langauge. But I would like to become an expert at it. I have a full time job and may not be able to attend classes on week days, I would prefer weekend classes and I'm more than happy to put in effort throughtout the week to learn things on my own with guidance of the tutor.
I would want my tutor to to adept of sanskrit, I prefer tutors who can read the vedas and other sanskrit texts at ease.
