I would liek to learn more japanese to be able toconverstae better witht he native population when I travel to their country. I'd also like to read japanese novels some day. At current, my level of japanese is at 3rd grade level. My desired goal is to reach 7th grade level. Working on grammar and voculary are the skills I wish to achieve. If I have a tutor, I would want my practice session to last for at least 3 months. I would prefer to have a teacher who is flexible, funny and uses various material to engage my language skills.

I am writing this for my 17 year old daughter . She is self-learning Japanese right now but we would like her to have a tutor for proper use of Japanese . We live in Joliet,Il and would be willing to drive to a tutor's place or a library in between our cities . I'm a beginner in Japanese. My dream is to learn this language and become a translator. I want to start fresh and start relearning Japanese. I've been through Japanese I and II (with Japanese for busy people) but retaining it is hard when you have no one to speak it with. I want to dedicate as much time as I can to this.
