I was born in China and immigrated to the US when I was 11 years old. I have since forgotten a lot of the Chinese especially in the areas of reading and writing. Dear Prospective Teachers,
My proficiency level is intermediate to advanced, I lived in Taiwan for two years as a missionary and am used to everday conversation. I've been home almost a year and I'm starting to forget words and don't have a lot of opportunities to use Mandarin yet. I study everday but I need to speak with natives. The reason for continuing my study is I plan to get my Masters in International Business and need to learn business terms and vocabulary. I need a tutor with a flexible schedule. I would be able to dedicate 4-6 hours a week for lessons. I'm looking for a teacher who is personable, caring of students, and dedicated.
