Hello,
I am looking for a Japanese native speaker to practice Japanese conversation and reading practice with. I lived in Japan for 12 years and have an advanced level of Japanese. I have passed 2kyuu of the Japanese Proficiency Exam (Nihongo Noryoku Shiken). Kanji/Reading is my weak point. I am concerned that I will lose my Japanese skills while living in the Netherlands and want to keep it up. For future career purposes, I would also like to refine my skills and improve reading ability. I work full time in Wassenaar. I would like to dedicate about 2 hours a week for Japanese lessons. I need a teacher who can motivate me to be interested in Kanji, because I have never enjoyed kanji study and find myself frustrated. I would like to also practice speaking more honorific (keigo) speech patterns.

I have always been interested in languages and I admire multilingual people. My main interests are Japanese and Tagalog. I have always been intrigued by the beauty of the Japanese language. I would also like to learn French and Spanish (for career advancement).
I am a beginner in all of these languages. I have learned a few things in Japanese on my own (numbers, days of the week, greetings).
I would like to delicate at least 2-3 nights/days a week to learning.
The qualities I'm looking for in a teacher are someone who can give me the patience I need, although I am a quick learner.

I am an immigrant from Australia and have previously learnt Japanese for 8 years in primary/middl e/high school to an high intermediate level (conversation about common topics/hiraga na/some kanji). I haven't spoken Japanese in 5 years and am going to Japan in February for 2 weeks and would like to be able to better converse with japanese friends and travel around. I am looking for a Japanese tutor to meet in the financial district or king/queen west once/twice per week after 5pm on weekdays to practice conversation and re learn much of the vocabulary that I have forgotten.
