I am a beginner learning Mandarin Chinese, I have been teaching myself so I know a few basics but I feel I could benefit much more with a teacher. I am engaged to a Chinese girl to be married soon, she speaks English and I so would like to learn her native language (she currently still lives in Fuzhou, I have been there two times). I work during the day, so evening or weekend classes would suite me best.

I am interested in learning Mandarin Chinese starting at the beginner level. I have traveled to Taiwan several times over the last few years on business and learned a small number of phrases. I am very interested in the Chinese culture and would like to be able to converse well. I would like to start with the basics but would also be interested learning how to write eventually. I work full-time in Norcross and live in Buford. I can devote 1-2 hours per week for lessons.
